America’s Car-Mart makes it easy to submit a repair request, get it reviewed, and get back on the road. Follow the steps below to see what to expect.
We’ve simplified the way vehicle service contract covered repairs are handled. To get started, you’ll need an Account Center login — here’s how to set one up.
First Time Here? Set Up Your Account.
Your Account Center is where you’ll begin the process, track claim progress, and stay up to date on your claim. If you don’t have an account yet, it only takes a few minutes to get set up.

Tap the person icon in the top right corner of the screen.

Select “Create Account” and follow the prompts. You’ll need your name, email address, and the phone number associated with your America’s Car-Mart account.

Once your account is created, log in and select your vehicle. From there, you’ll see the option to start a repair request under “Vehicle Repair.”

The Repair Process, Step by Step
STEP 1: Create a claim and find a repair shop near you
Log in to your Account Center at car-mart.com. Select your vehicle, then choose “Vehicle Repair” to start a new request. You’ll provide your contact information, VIN, current mileage, and a description of what’s going on with your vehicle — for example, “my car won’t start” or “the check engine light is on.”
Enter your zip code and you’ll see a list of approved repair shops near you. Select the one that works best for your location and schedule.
IN-NETWORK REPAIR SHOP
Once your repair is approved, we pay the repair shop directly on your behalf.
OUT-OF-NETWORK REPAIR SHOP
You deal directly with the repair shop of your choice. All repairs require approval prior to being completed. Any unauthorized repairs will not be paid. On approval you pay the repair shop directly and America’s Car-Mart will reimburse you for approved repairs. Please allow 4–6 weeks for processing.
Once you submit your request, you’ll receive a confirmation email with your claim details, the repair shop’s name, phone number, and address, and clear instructions on what to do next. Your selected repair shop will also be notified that you’re on your way.
Tip: Keep an eye on your email — all updates about your claim will be sent there. Save the repair shop’s contact info so you can reach out to schedule your visit.
STEP 2: Contact the repair shop, take your vehicle in and get a diagnosis
Contact the repair shop to schedule a drop-off, then bring your vehicle in. The repair shop will diagnose the issue to determine what’s wrong, why it’s happening, and what’s needed to fix it.
About the diagnostic fee:
You are responsible for any diagnostic fees charged by the repair shop. If your repair is approved, those fees will be covered as part of the repair. If not approved, the diagnostic fee is your responsibility.
STEP 3: Repair shop will submit an estimate for approval
After the diagnostic, the vendor will submit a detailed estimate to America’s Car-Mart. This will include the problems found, what caused them, the recommended repairs, and all associated costs including parts, labor, taxes, and shop fees. No work will begin until the estimate has been reviewed and approved.
America’s Car-Mart reviews the estimate to determine what’s covered and whether the pricing is within range. You will then receive an email with one of two outcomes:
- Approved
Repair is authorized. Work can begin. - Denied
You’ll be given a reason. Any repairs are between you and the vendor.
If approved, both you and the repair shop will receive an email confirming the approved amount and next steps. The repair shop will proceed with the authorized repairs — and only the authorized repairs.
Your cost:
You’ll be responsible for a $75 deductible, payable directly to the repair shop. America’s Car-Mart will pay the remaining approved amount directly to the repair shop on your behalf.
STEP 4: Complete the repairs, pay your deductible and You're Back on the Road!
When the repair is finished, the repair shop submits a final invoice to America’s Car-Mart. We verify it matches the approved amount, and once confirmed, payment is processed to the repair shop. You’ll be notified when everything is complete.
That’s it! Pay your $75 deductible, pick up your vehicle, and you’re good to go. We handle the rest behind the scenes.
Common Questions
What is the Account Center?
The Account Center is your personal portal at car-mart.com where you can manage your vehicle, submit repair requests, and track the status of your claim. Setting up an account is free and only takes a few minutes. If you need help getting started, the CARE team can walk you through it over the phone.
What if my repair is denied?
You’ll receive an email with the reason. From there, any further repairs or costs are between you and the vendor. You’re never obligated to proceed with work that isn’t covered.
What if the repair shop finds additional problems during the repair?
If the repair shop discovers something new while working on your vehicle, they can add it to the existing claim. The additional item will go through the same review and approval process before any work is done.
Can I change my repair shop after I've submitted a request?
Yes. If you need to switch to a different repair shop, you can update your selection in the Account Center.
What's covered under my Vehicle Service Contract?
Your confirmation email will include a list of covered components. If you’re unsure whether a specific repair qualifies, submit your request and our review process will determine coverage.
What if I want to use a repair shop that's not on the list?
You can choose an out-of-network repair shop, but you’ll need to pay the full cost upfront. If approved, America’s Car-Mart will reimburse you. Please allow 4–6 weeks for reimbursement processing.
