“I can’t say they can do this for you, but I was in a bind, and I found myself in the market for a car 15 minutes before Car-Mart of Fayetteville College closed. I called them, and I got there five minutes before they closed. I got my car, and it wasn’t the one I had in mind, but they worked with me on the down payment to get an even better car – the right car for me and my family. The employees stayed two hours extra just for me. It made me feel like I was a part of the family, and I will be going to my Car-Mart store in the future for additional sales and services. Now I know why Car-Mart is THE place to buy your pre-owned cars. They do good work.”
Aspen selected America’s Car-Mart because of its overall reputation. “I’m a bit of a Wall Street Journal reader and I read a lot of business news. I read that Car-Mart was one of the biggest car sellers. I learned that Car-Mart is a big deal. I trusted the brand.”
So, when Aspen, a resident of Harrison, Ark., needed a new vehicle, he searched for the closest Car-Mart – at Fayetteville College, Ark. He called at 5:30 p.m. on a Friday. “When I arrived, the Car-Mart team jumped into action. And, by 7:30 p.m., I drove away. I didn’t expect to get a car that day, but I did,” says Aspen. “I bought a 2010 Kia Forte and I loved it.”
“We talked about a down payment and monthly payments, and Aspen was on his way in his new vehicle,” adds Stacy Chavarria, Assistant Manager, Car-Mart of Fayetteville, Ark.
Aspen purchased Car-Mart’s service contract package. “I don’t have to worry about ongoing expenses. It seems a good value for the money,” says Aspen.
“Customers love the extended service contracts. And, it’s just another way we’re there for our customers after they purchase their vehicle,” Stacy says.
And, while stopping at a gas station after his purchase, Aspen referred someone to Car-Mart. “They helped me. They can help you. They believed in me,” Aspen says.
“Car-Mart made it happen”
The sales process was an efficient process. However, when the tire pressure light came on two days later, Aspen returned to Car-Mart for additional assistance. That’s when he saw another vehicle he liked better.
“Because I had more time, I was able to look around some more,” notes Aspen, who then traded in his Kia for a 2008 Honda Civic.
That’s where Car-Mart’s 100% Satisfaction played out for Aspen. [Car-Mart’s 100% Satisfaction policy states that if within 72 hours, you don’t like your vehicle, Car-Mart will exchange it for another vehicle of equal or lesser value].
“We will do all we can to make sure our customers are satisfied,” Stacy mentions. “For Aspen, he experienced a minor issue on his car and we quickly addressed it. And, then he saw another vehicle he liked better, so we worked out a trade.”
“Car-Mart made this happen,” Aspen adds. “It was an amazing experience in every way possible. They valued my concerns like their own. Car-Mart delivered. They helped me get into a car the same day, and then they moved mountains to make my trade.”
That’s why he gives high marks to Car-Mart. “I give Car-Mart the highest possible rating. It was great. I’ve never bought a car at a dealership before and I’m glad to be a part of Car-Mart. I’ll pay off this car and I will go back because I know Car-Mart will help me.”
“It’s why we do what we do”
For Stacy, it’s about helping Car-Mart’s customers and keeping them on the road. She adds that Car-Mart has the tools to help people, including flexible payment plans, low down payments, and even vehicle lay-aways. Car-Mart’s service contract is yet another tool that provides customers with peace of mind should unforeseen repairs be needed.
“I love my job,” Stacy smiles. “People come to Car-Mart because they need a vehicle. We get to help people even if they have bruised or damaged credit. Many times, they don’t think they can get into a vehicle, and yet, we’re here for them.
“And, once they buy a vehicle from Car-Mart, they’re part of our family, and we’re with them throughout the length of their loan,” says Stacy, while adding that she informs her customers that since 1981, customers have trusted Car-Mart with their vehicle buying needs.
And, it’s customers like Aspen who appreciate the company’s history of keeping its customers on the road.
“Car-Mart is a place where I can go and not get the run-around,” Aspen says. “If I see a car I like, they’ll help me buy it. No high-pressure sales. They’ll make it happen. I have only good things to say about Car-Mart. The team at Fayetteville College knocked it out of the park.”
